This book blows the cover off the "mystical art" of Home
Inspection. Being both a recent home seller and buyer, I can tell
you it is far better to understand what to expect, as well as the
details of the home inspection, than to experience the potential
of bad results.
We lost the sale of our home when to many defects showed up in
the buyers Home Inspection report. Worse yet, we had come home to
a house with bright-yellow-paint-circled, softball-sized, smashed-open
holes in the siding all around the house for the whole world to
see. Although the we "rapidly" repaired the noted problems,
the potential buyer got cold feet and moved on. This mess all required
the home to be on the market for several months longer. Had we been
aware of Home Inspection, we would have gotten things right prior
to listing the house for sale. Buyer or Seller, this book is money
in the bank!
